The do's and don'ts of data protection what does it mean for you?
Two years after the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force, the new legislative framework has had a significant impact on people's rights and responsibilities both inside and outside the workplace. This interactive workshop will blend the legal with the practical, to first assess the impact the data rules have had on business across the sectors - so what does it means for you?

This workshop provides delegates with:
Key areas of enforcement alongside the future risks, threats and trends that we foresee with information management in 2021 and beyond.
Practical information and advice on how to effectively manage data to reduce both individual and organisational risk, with case studies focusing on cultural shifts and data breaches.
Examples of how to minimise the risk to your organisation.

About the presenter
Helen has designed, delivered and evaluated hundreds of training interventions across the sectors and is skilled at ensuring key messages are understood across the hierarchy of an organisation. As such Helen regularly delivers training for senior management teams and boards of management, yet frequently delivers to those in non-managerial roles, with a particular ability to ensure consistency of message and inclusivity. She blends the legal with the practical to ensure that all delegates understand the standards expected of them, and provides them with the practical skills to hit those standards on a day to day basis. Helen is also regularly invited to deliver key note speeches at industry-specific Conferences and seminars including events for ACAS, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, Race Council Cymru, Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and several local government business forums across Wales.
