Bridgend Business Forum in partnership with Grŵp invite you to join them for afternoon tea in conversation with Becky James at the Coed-y-Mwstwr Hotel, Coychurch.

The afternoon will begin at 1.30pm with a Q&A with Becky, looking into the concept of marginal gains and how Welsh and British Cycling have used this to great success. This will be followed by a delicious afternoon tea where you will have the opportunity to speak to Becky and ask questions about her cycling adventures and accomplishments.

Speaker profile – Becky James
Becky started cycling in an after school club at primary school before joining Abergavenny Road Club and competing in mountain bike events. At 13 she was talent spotted by Welsh Cycling.
Having competed in a series of prestigious competitive events, Becky broke the Junior Girls Flying 200 metre time trial World Record and won two junior World titles at the 2009 World Championships in Moscow.
After missing out on the London 2012 Olympics Becky then became the first British cyclist to win four medals at the World Championships in 2013 in Minsk, Belarus.
In August 2016 Becky competed for Team GB at the Rio Olympics winning two silver medals.
